Purification Procedures

With a total of 20 AKTA FPLC systems and a great selection (affinity, ion exchange, reverse phase, hydrophobic interaction, and size exclusion) of purification columns, Biortus Biology Department is well-equipped for purification of macromolecular biomolecules. Below shows our general purification scheme for most proteins

We purify hundreds of different proteins per year. The scheme works fine for most of them. We also have other strategies in place for “difficult” proteins.
