Quality Control
For purified protein quality validation, along with SDS-gel for purity check, NanoDrop for protein concentration and 260/280 ratio check, we utilize SEC-MALS, LC-MS, NanoDSF and other methods, to ensure our protein products are in high quality and good activity. Standard buffer optimization or protein stabilization could be screened by ThermoFluor assay or NanoDSF. Negative staining is also optional for QC based on requirements. Besides conventional recombinant proteins, Biortus are experienced at customized protein modifications such as Se-Met derivatization, isotope labeling, biotinylation, PEG modification and more.
